Meet Didier Piganeau, the King of Basoche (Prank).

French student, Didier Piganeau pulled one of the greatest pranks of all time by pranking the Central African Republic's former President Bokassa in 1977.

He claimed to be a King to get invited to Bokassa's coronation as an Emperor. He went along with two other students who acted as his Queen and servant.

Although Piganeau wasn't wrong claiming to be a king as he held a school organisation position called "King of Basoche" whose duty is to pull pranks, exactly his mission here.

He was greeted by the Prime Minister at the airport, and sat in the front row with actual Kings, but almost got caught as French authorities had to call his dad to question him. He replied saying, "yes indeed my son is the King of Basoche".
