Mattel has introduced its inaugural "Barbie Diwali doll," perfectly timed for India's largest festival of the year.
In collaboration with Indian designer Anita Dongre, the doll is adorned in a beautifully crafted lehenga, featuring symbolic floral designs and traditional accessories like golden bangles and earrings.
Diwali, known as the festival of lights, represents the triumph of good over evil and is celebrated with gatherings, prayers, and fireworks. With this new release, Mattel aims to honor India's rich cultural heritage while continuing Barbie's journey toward inclusivity.
