Lagos Police Arrest Club Bouncer for Fatal Stabbing Inciden


Lagos State police have apprehended a club bouncer, Kingsley Otti, for allegedly stabbing a suspected hoodlum to death at a lounge on Ago Palace Way in the Okota area on Monday, October 7.

The police spokesperson, SP Benjamin, confirmed the incident in a statement, explaining that the bouncer attacked the victim during an altercation in the club's parking lot. The victim later died in the hospital where he was taken for treatment of serious injuries.

“On Monday at around 11:30 am, the manager of a club and lounge on Ago Palace Way reported to the Ago-Okota Division that earlier that day, around 3:30 am, an unidentified adult male, suspected to be a hoodlum, was allegedly stabbed by bouncer Kingsley Oti during a dispute in the parking area.

The victim lost consciousness and was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Mushin, where he was pronounced dead by the attending doctor
