Kazim Adeoti, husband of Mercy Aigbe, addressed the backlash regarding his absence from his first wife Olufunsho's 50th birthday celebration, which took place in the US last week.
Despite the occasion, Adeoti did not publicly acknowledge the milestone on social media and faced criticism for it. In a statement on his Instagram, the filmmaker clarified that Olufunsho had specifically requested that he not attend the party or celebrate her online, and he felt it was important to honor her wishes.
