Investigation into Six-Year-Old Girl's Death in Gujarat Uncovers Disturbing Details

The investigation into the tragic death of a six-year-old girl in Gujarat's Dahod district has unveiled a horrifying revelation. The Class I student was reportedly choked to death by her school's principal after she resisted his attempts to sexually assault her. Following the act, he allegedly discarded her body in the school's compound and placed her bag and shoes near the classroom.

Police have arrested the accused, 55-year-old Govind Natt. Senior officer Rajdeep Singh Jhala stated that the girl's body was discovered on the school premises on the evening of September 19, prompting widespread panic in the community. A post-mortem examination confirmed that she had suffocated.

Authorities registered a case and established ten teams to investigate the incident. The girl's mother informed police that she accompanied the principal to school every day. When questioned, Govind Natt claimed he had dropped the girl off and left for other commitments, but investigators were not convinced.

Upon reviewing his phone's location on the day of the incident, police found that he arrived at the school later than usual. During further questioning, the principal ultimately confessed to the crime.

"He picked up the girl from her home around 10:20 AM. Her mother helped her into the principal's car and saw her off, but she never made it to school. Students and teachers confirmed this," the senior officer reported. He added that the principal attempted to sexually assault the girl during the journey, leading her to scream, prompting him to choke her to silence her. After arriving at the school, he left her body in his car and locked the vehicle.
