HILDA BACI FINALLY REACTS TO CHEF DAMMY'S ATTEMPT TO BREAK HER RECORD

Hilda Baci, a popular Nigerian chef recently brought into the limelight for pulling off the Guiness World Record breaking feat of cooking for 100 hours has sent a message to a colleague, Chef Damilola Adeparusi, who has begun a cooking adventure to beat her just-set 100-hour cook-a-thon feat.

Chef Dammy, as she is formally called, began cooking on Friday, June 9 in Ekiti, Nigeria and is on track to cook for a total of 120 hours beating Hilda’s former 100-hour record.

While several Nigerians have travelled down to Oye Ekiti to cheer her up like they did with Hilda, some netizens have chosen to call her out for being inpatient as Hilda is still revelling in her glory and new-found fame and also accused the young chef of being fame-hungry.

Her team so far has ignored the jabs at her and have stated that they are not there to “have fun” but for “serious work”.

So far, she has been cooking nonstop for almost 60 hours.

Amidst all the ongoing criticism on social media, Hilda Bacihas openly expressed her support for the Ekiti Chef in a new Twitter post.

Despite awaiting verification from the Guinness World Record board, she wished her challenger luck and begged her to learn from the experience.

Baci added that Dammy taking on the cooking challenge fully demonstrates that passion knows no limit.

In her tweet, Hilda Baci wrote;

“The beauty of dreams is that they are unique to each individual. Dami, your boldness to take on a cooking challenge shows that passion knows no limits. Embrace the journey, learn from every experience, and inspire others with your unwavering spirit. #DreamsUnleashed”
