Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the son of former Kaduna State Governor Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, has died. A family source, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed the news to a Daily Trust correspondent, stating that he was involved in a car accident.
The incident took place on the Kaduna-Zaria highway on Saturday evening. According to reports, he was taken to an undisclosed hospital where he was pronounced dead. His father was present at the hospital, and Faisal's body has since been returned home for burial arrangements.
A civil engineer by profession, Faisal attended Kaduna International School before completing his secondary education at Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State. He earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Greenwich in London and was enrolled in a PhD program at the same institution.
