A California State Senator is facing serious allegations from her former chief of staff, who claims she made him a "sex slave" and caused him a back injury while "forcing" him to perform oral sex. Republican Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil, 50, is accused by Chad Condit, 57, the son of a former congressman.

In a civil lawsuit filed in Sacramento Superior Court, Condit alleges that the married mother of six frequently demanded oral sex, including in the car, leading to his injury. He describes their relationship as a "sex-based quid pro quo," marked by "unwelcome advances and sexual behaviors" alongside displays of power.

Alvarado-Gil, elected in 2022, hired Condit as her chief of staff but terminated his employment in December 2023. She strongly denies the allegations, labeling him a "disgruntled former employee" who has concocted a false story for financial gain. Condit asserts that she viewed oral sex as a privilege associated with her position, recounting an incident during a trip to Inyo County where they stopped for a restroom break.
