Death Sentences Handed Down to Offa Bank Robbers
The armed robbers who attacked five banks in Offa, killing nine police officers and over 20 civilians, have been sentenced to death. Justice Haleema Salman of the Kwara High Court found the defendants guilty of armed robbery and culpable homicide, sentencing them to death by hanging.
