Darlington was reported missing for three days, raising significant concern. Adeyanju explained that Darlington's detention was due to a formal complaint lodged by Burna Boy, accusing him of defamation and cyberstalking against the Grammy-winning artist.
However, the content creator was released to his lawyer on Tuesday evening after fulfilling the bail requirements set by the police at the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in Abuja.
In a post on X, Adeyanju expressed gratitude to those who helped secure Darlington's release and praised the professionalism of the police in the IRT.
Darlington had previously mocked Burna Boy regarding his ties to the controversial US rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is currently facing multiple charges related to sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
