It’s the 2022/23 Copa del Rey final which sees Real Madrid take on Osasuna at Estadio de La Cartuja in Sevilla.
Real Madrid who are 19-time winners of the competition reached the final of this year’s edition after defeating rivals Barcelona 4-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals, coming back from a 1-0 first leg loss to the Catalan giants at the Santiago Bernabeu to win 4-0 in the second leg at the Spotify Camp Nou.
Osasuna meanwhile make their second ever Copa del Rey final after losing 2-1 in extra-time to Real Betis in 2005,the last time they played in the competition’s final.Osasuna reached the final of this year’s edition after beating Athletic Bilbao 2-1 on aggregate in the semi-final thanks to a solid 1-0 first leg home win.
The match is scheduled to take place at 9 PM Nigerian time with Jose Maria Sanchez Martinez the centre referee appointed to officiate the game.
