China Welcomes Its First Corgi Police Dog, Fu Za

China has recently introduced its first Corgi police dog, named Fu Zai, who made his debut in Shandong province. Despite the breed's reputation for having "short legs," Fu Zai impressed during his training and was chosen for active duties. This development challenges the notion that only larger, long-legged dogs are suitable for law enforcement.

Fu Zai's training involves sniffing and searching tasks, demonstrating the capabilities of Corgis in police work and representing an important step toward diversifying the breeds used in the field.
