Bolatito "Black Tito" Oluwole Suffers First Career Defeat to Lani Daniels

Nigerian boxer Bolatito “Black Tito” Oluwole faced her first professional loss on Saturday night, falling to New Zealand’s Lani Daniels by unanimous decision in their IBF women’s light-heavyweight title bout at Claudelands Arena, Hamilton.

Daniels successfully defended her IBF title with a commanding performance, with judges scoring the match 100-90, 97-93, and 98-92 in her favor after 10 intense rounds.

The defending champion showcased her experience, outboxing Oluwole, who came into the match with an unbeaten record of nine wins, including five knockouts. Despite her rigorous training and aspirations for her first world title, Oluwole struggled against the more experienced Daniels, who now has 11 career victories.

Daniels entered the ring with a record of 10 wins, two losses, and two draws, and fought with the advantage of local support and confidence in retaining her title.
