Bill Gates possesses an exclusive McDonald's Gold Card, granting him complimentary meals at any of the chain's locations around the globe.
In contrast, fellow billionaire Warren Buffett also has a similar card, but his is limited to McDonald's restaurants in Omaha. During a 2007 CNBC interview, Buffett humorously remarked that although Gates's card is recognized worldwide, his own was sufficient since he rarely travels outside Omaha.
Recognizing the appeal of this unique privilege, McDonald's launched a contest in 2022, allowing a select few lucky individuals to win their own McGold Cards to share with family and friends.
