Mickey, a recently evicted housemate from Big Brother Naija's "No Loose Guard" season, has opened up about lying about his age during his time in the house. In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu after his eviction, Mickey admitted he told other housemates he was 28 years old when he is actually 24.
He explained that he felt pressured to lie due to his interactions with fellow housemate Ozee, who often emphasized age in their conversations. Mickey recounted a moment when Ozee mentioned being in Nigeria before he was born, which made him feel uncomfortable. This prompted him to misrepresent his age to avoid such discussions.
In addition to discussing his age, Mickey also expressed regret for his behavior towards Wanni during the show. He acknowledged that he misjudged her character, stating, "It took me a long time to understand that Wanni actually has a soft heart. Apologies for that." Initially, he had vowed to push Wanni and her twin sister, Handi, to leave the house voluntarily, branding them as "rude."
