APC Vice Chairman, Lukman Resigns Over Obtrusion Of Ganduje As National Chairman

Recall that the APC National Chairman,  Abdullahi Adamu resigned on the 17th of July,  2023 and since then the tussle to find a replacement for the position has been a herculean task.

However, the seven states of the northwest zone have endorsed the former governor of Kano State,  Abdullahi Ganduje as the national chairman of the All Progressive Congress.

Consequently,  a member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the North-west National Vice Chairman of the party, Comrade Salihu Lukman, has resigned his position from the party.

In a resignation letter signed Wednesday, July 26, 2033, Salihu Lukman, said he will remain a member of the party with the hope that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue to tow the path of Justice.

His resignation came the same day the APC chairpersons in the seven states of the North-west zone endorsed a former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, for the position of the national chairman of the party.

The letter appreciated the APC leaders in Kaduna, especially former governor Nasir El-Rufai and others.
