APC Dominates Kogi Elections, Winning All Local Government Chairmanship Positions

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has achieved a resounding victory in Kogi, winning all 21 Local Government Chairmanship positions and 239 councilor seats during Saturday's elections.

Mr. Mamman Nda-Eri, chairman of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), announced the results, stating, “APC performed excellently; it cleared all the chairmanship and councillorship positions, leaving nothing to the other 18 political parties that took part in the election.”

Nda-Eri confirmed that the results declared at the KOSIEC headquarters were previously announced at various collation centers by the respective Returning Officers. He reiterated the commission's commitment to transparency and integrity in the electoral process, solidifying the APC's stronghold in Kogi’s local governanc
