The All Progressive Congress (APC) has achieved a resounding victory in Kogi, winning all 21 Local Government Chairmanship positions and 239 councilor seats during Saturday's elections.
Mr. Mamman Nda-Eri, chairman of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), announced the results, stating, “APC performed excellently; it cleared all the chairmanship and councillorship positions, leaving nothing to the other 18 political parties that took part in the election.”
Nda-Eri confirmed that the results declared at the KOSIEC headquarters were previously announced at various collation centers by the respective Returning Officers.
