Alex Iwobi has shared that he started making music at the age of 14 while also pursuing a professional football career.
The Super Eagles midfielder discussed this in an interview with TheCable in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, on Wednesday.
In March 2024, the 28-year-old footballer introduced an undiscovered talent to millions of his social media followers by sharing a snippet of his unreleased rap under the stage name “17.” In the brief clip, Iwobi showcased his rapping skills, flowing over a UK Drill instrumental while a montage of his on-field highlights played in the background.
