Moroccan International football player, Achraf Hakimi has his mother to thank for not losing half of his fortunes to his ex-wife, Hiba Abouk.
The couple who got married in 2020, in a private ceremony shortly before welcoming their first child the same year, share similar backgrounds as Hiba, a Spanish actress was born in Madrid to Tunisian immigrant parents. They first met in 2018 when Hakimi was playing for Dortmund in Germany with Hiba twelve years older than the footballer.
Hiba decided to separate from Hakimi without clearly stating the reason for her decision but shortly after the separation, Hakimi was allegedly accused of rape in February 2023, with the Police investigating the matter after a public complain from a 24-year old woman emerged.
The Paris Saint-Germain player is reportedly the sixth highest paid African footballer but has nothing in his name as his mother Saida Mouh is even the beneficiary of his salary. After asking for half of Hakimi’s assets when filing for divorce, Hiba was informed that Hakimi owns nothing in his name.
