PSG (Paris Saint-Germain] star Achraf Hakimi is making rounds on the internet yet again, this time based off the news that he is set to lose his luxurious car worth €300,000 to his ex-wife, Hiba Abouk.
The Moroccan defender drives a Mercedes Benz AMG G36 that Abouk will now take over, according to Car magazine Tork.
The couple began dating in 2018 while Hakimi played for Real Madrid, but as reported, divorced earlier this year.
The Moroccan defender and his ex wife then proceeded to make headlines over the media following their infamous divorce and advances made by his former wife to claim half of the footballer’s assets.
However, she wasn’t quite able to procure any share of the footballer’s fortune simply because none of the assets were registered undef the name of the PSG superstar.
The player was said to have played a ‘fast past’, registering all of his properties in his mother’s name. This move made his ex-wife, actress Hiba Abouk to be dragged on social media and cited as a gold-digger despite her claims against being uninterested in his wealth.
Regarding the divorce settlement, Abouk expressed her lack of attachment to material possessions,
“I have zero attachment to the material things. I left home with one hand in front and the other behind, without the support of my family.
“But I had to do it because my environment was not going to allow me to grow or be free. It was either my life or theirs, and I decided to fight for myselfâ€
The media took sides with Hakimi, egging him on for taking ‘precautionary measures’ when it seemed like the actress wouldn’t be receiving a dime off his head.
